Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Sandstorm OSINT ("the Service", "the Platform") operated by Sandstorm OSINT ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and subscribers of the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Sandstorm OSINT is an independent open-source intelligence aggregation and analysis platform providing situational awareness information for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

The Service aggregates publicly available information from open sources including news feeds, official government social media accounts, aviation data providers, and other public data sources. All information is processed and analysed using artificial intelligence systems.

3. Disclaimer of Liability

3.1 Information provided by the Service is for general situational awareness only. It is not and must not be treated as professional security advice, intelligence advice, military advice, legal advice, medical advice, or emergency operational guidance.

3.2 We make no warranty, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, or suitability of any information provided through the Service.

3.3 We accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, injury, death, financial loss, business interruption, or any other consequence arising directly or indirectly from:

• (a) Reliance on information provided by the Service
• (b) Any decision made based on information from the Service
• (c) Any failure, delay, interruption, or inaccuracy of the Service
• (d) Any security incident, airspace closure, or regional event that was not detected, reported, or accurately characterised by the Service.

3.4 The Service aggregates data from third-party sources over which we have no control. We cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of third-party data and accept no liability for errors or omissions in third-party data.

3.5 In all cases, users must:

• (a) Follow official guidance from government authorities and emergency services
• (b) Seek advice from qualified professional security advisors for operational security decisions
• (c) Contact local emergency services in any life-threatening situation.

3.6 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 All content on the Platform including but not limited to intelligence analysis, confidence scoring methodologies, verification algorithms, platform design, text, graphics, and software is owned by or licensed to Sandstorm OSINT and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

4.2 You may not:

• (a) Copy, reproduce, or redistribute any platform content without our express written permission
• (b) Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Platform
• (c) Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any content or data from the Platform
• (d) Use platform content to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models
• (e) Create derivative works based on platform content without written permission.

4.3 You may share individual intelligence items for personal, non-commercial purposes provided you clearly attribute Sandstorm OSINT as the source and include a link to sandstormosint.com.

5. Subscriptions and Payment

5.1 The Service offers a free tier and paid subscription plans as described on the pricing page.

5.2 Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. By subscribing you agree to Stripe's terms of service in addition to these Terms.

5.3 Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

5.4 You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until that date.

5.5 We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Price changes will be communicated by email. Existing subscribers who signed up during launch pricing are locked in at their original rate for as long as their subscription remains active and uninterrupted.

5.6 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these Terms without refund.

6. Acceptable Use

6.1 You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

6.2 You must not use the Service:

• (a) For any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• (b) To conduct or support any military, paramilitary, or intelligence operation
• (c) To monitor, track, or surveil specific individuals without their consent
• (d) To resell or commercially redistribute platform data or analysis
• (e) To attempt to circumvent subscription access controls
• (f) To attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract platform algorithms or methodologies
• (g) To introduce malware, viruses, or malicious code to the Platform
• (h) To attempt unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its infrastructure.

6.3 The Service is intended for use by adults aged 18 and over. By using the Service you confirm you are at least 18 years old.

7. Information Sources and Accuracy

7.1 Sandstorm OSINT aggregates publicly available information only. We do not access classified, restricted, or private information of any kind.

7.2 The Platform uses artificial intelligence to analyse and score intelligence items. AI analysis may contain errors and must not be treated as definitive.

7.3 Confidence scores assigned to intelligence items are estimates based on automated analysis. A high confidence score does not guarantee accuracy.

7.4 Airspace status information is derived from flight data analysis and official NOTAMs where available. It may not reflect the complete or current operational status of any airspace. Always check with airlines, airports, and civil aviation authorities before making any travel decisions.

8. Account Security

8.1 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

8.2 You must notify us immediately at hello@sandstormosint.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

8.3 We accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account resulting from your failure to keep credentials secure.

9. Service Availability

9.1 We aim to provide continuous 24/7 service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9.2 The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, third-party data provider outages, or circumstances beyond our control.

9.3 We accept no liability for any loss arising from Service unavailability.

10. Termination

10.1 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms.

10.2 You may delete your account at any time via your account settings or by emailing hello@sandstormosint.com.

10.3 Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

11.1 We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email with 14 days notice.

11.2 Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

12.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

12.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
